A contingent of Republican lawmakers in the House of Representatives presented three articles of arraignment against President Joe Biden this week, referring to the president’s bombed treatment of the emergency at the southern line, his endeavor to expand the government ban on expulsions, and his fumbled military withdrawal from Afghanistan, the Washington Examiner reported.
Ohio Rep. Bounce Gibbs previously presented the articles on Tuesday and was subsequently joined by Reps. Andy Biggs (Ariz.) Brian Babin (Texas), and Randy Weber (Texas), who endorsed on as co-supports.
The articles get no opportunity of progressing in the Democrat-controlled House and probable will not draw in much media consideration. However, Gibbs demands the work is veritable and trusts the goal will essentially send an assertion to the White House.
“I take this seriously. I don’t think it’s haphazard. I’m not trying to get media attention for myself,” Gibbs told the Examiner in an interview. “He’s done so much damage to this country in less than nine months, which is really scary.”
“He’s not capable of being commander in chief, and that’s obvious by the actions since Day One when he took the presidency back in January,” the lawmaker added. “Maybe something like this makes the White House think twice before they do some of this nonsense.”
“Obviously, it’s not going to go anywhere with [Democratic House Speaker] Pelosi,” Gibbs said. “[But] it shows that there are some Republicans that think that this president needs to be impeached, he needs to be removed from office one way or another.”
“At some point, they’re gonna be held accountable for their actions, and this is kind of putting them on notice,” he continued.
The main article of indictment asserts that Biden abused his oath to steadfastly execute the workplace of President by neglecting to get the U.S.- Mexico line and resolutely delivering huge number of travelers who entered the United States illicitly without a date to show up in court for movement.
In the subsequent article, Gibbs contends that Biden abused the separation of powers by “extending the [eviction] moratorium despite the clear warnings from the U.S. Supreme Court” and without any “legislative directive from the U.S. Congress.”
The third and last article charges that Biden “failed to act responsibly as Commander in Chief” with regard to his administration’s withdrawal from Afghanistan.
Biden’s blundered departure endeavors brought about many American residents and huge number of Afghan friendlies being abandoned while the Taliban system assumed control over the country. Also, 13 U.S. administration individuals lost their lives in a fear monger assault.
“President Biden has abandoned thousands of Americans with the removal of military personnel before American civilians were evacuated, willfully putting their lives at risk,” the resolution states.
